Alfredo Laporta, painter born in Barcelona in 1974.

Currently based in Berlin.

My work explores the notion of the human being. Through my portraits and figures, I deal with this subject, working from realism to suggestive decompositions and representations.

 

I represent all genders, together or separately, trying to reach the maximum possible knowledge of the psyche and body of the other and of my own being.

 

The subject, in my work, is shown with a look from the deep, essential and intimate of itself towards a wide perspective facing the universe.

 

My pictorial language finds its space in a place that goes from the avant-garde of the 20th century to the most prehistoric art.
